Saturday April 8th, 9:00 am ~ 4:00 pm, “Fitting In & Standing Out”, Working in Quarter Scale

 Louise will be lecturing on how we can improve our garments and make them look more professional.  Creative tips and sewing techniques for collars, sleeve plackets and cuffs with her bag of tricks.  Teach us the correct way and types of interfacing that should be used.  How to extend sleeve lengths and circumference changes in proper locations.  Discover the designs that work with your body type, plus up and coming styles. We will be working with the quarter scale patterns pieces.

Louise founded “Cutting Corners, Inc.” a successful Custom Couture Clothing business located in Winter Park, Florida and “The Cutting Line Designs” Pattern Co. She has received the ASG Hall of Fame & ASE Outstanding Teacher Award

  • All sessions will be held at the Sedgwick County Extension Center, 7001 W. 21st Street N. Wichita, KS
  • Lunch provided both day sessions
